The location was good, about halfway between Bayeux and the Normandy beach area, and Mont Saint Michel. Pont-Hébert is on the edge of the Cotentin and Bessin Marshes Regional Natural Park and is close to St. Lô. It enabled many easy day trips without having to move. There was a bakery, grocery, and gas available a very short distance away, down in the village.

Very lovely welcome by the smiling receptionist. She went out of her way to assist my elderly mother which was greatly appreciated. Beautiful warm room on the ground floor and excellent breakfast brought to the room. We look forward to returning.

The host was very friendly, very kind, looking for all possibilities to help us. For breakfast she was baking all kind of cakes, like brioche, pancakes (crêpes), very tasty muffin-like cakes, croissants… with home made jams of many kind. Little garden next to the house, breakfast can be taken inside or outside. Clean rooms and bathroom. One can enjoy a glass of wine in the evening under the trees in the garten. Silent surrounding.
