This is a lovely wooden chalet set in the grounds of the owners' home. It's tucked away at the edge of a small hamlet, but within an easy reach of pretty much everything in the area. The main bedroom is massive, with a huge, comfortable bed. Everything is spanking clean and fresh looking. The owners are very friendly and responsive, but don't intrude at all.

I registered late when the restaurant was closed. The kitchen was open again without any question and I had warm food and good wine. I think it is a brilliant example of excellent service.

The location was perfect. Near the motorway. It is the perfect place to stop when travelling by car. It has a green space to walk the dog. The room was spacious and the car can be parked in front of the room. The manager was absolutely fantastic, really kind. A good breakfast for less than 6€ each (it had fresh pastries, good coffee, juice…) We arrived outside the check-in hours and our keys were left in safety box.

This was our second visit to this hotel and again it didn’t disappoint. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again if the need arises. The room was very clean and had everything we needed.

What a little gem in the middle of Vergt. A basic room but clean and comfortable. Wonderful meal in the restaurant was an unexpected delight. Staff were wonderful.

The location is excellent, close by the highway. There are also some nice places to walk, although I know most people stay one night. I should say that the wifi finally worked for me, after I learned the key password.
