What a great stay in this jewel of a small hotel with so much character! Rooms originally decorated according to old professions and soooo comfortable at the same time! Having a small terrace was great and the peaceful yard was perfect to enjoy a glass of great wine from the cellar in the evening. The best and easiest parking I ever had and formidable food with breakfast and dinner completed the experience we will repeat soon! The location is great to find peace and quiet and at the same time it is easy to reach many interesting destinations without too much driving. Shower with perfect pressure and temperature and everything in the main house and garden also is decorated so prettily with a great taste and love of details. Sure we will be back, fell in love with the place!

Perhaps the most beautiful “Chappelle” one could overnight in. Very tastefully decorated, beautiful stone building with completely modern touches. A great overnight in L’Isle-sur-Serein. Emmanuelle and Gracci are delightful hosts. Very warm and welcoming. And not to be missed is Le Epis d’Or the local bar and social hub of the village run by Madame Kiyo and le beau Serge.

Brandon was incredibly hospitable. Carpe Diem is beautiful, the room we stayed in was small but perfectly fine for 2 of us. The decor was beautiful. The garden was lovely, and having parking at the back was super.

Absolutely lovely property with lovely hosts who took care of all our needs. Everything you need is provided, the house is comfortable and extremely clean. There’s a really nice family space for meals and relaxing. There’s adjacent road is very quiet. The house is very close to bars and restaurants.

    We loved Grimault, it was a little remote, but that's what we wanted for this part of our trip, peace & quiet and realxation. You will have to drive everywhere, but this location is very convenient for sites like Fontenay Abbey, Vezelay & Chablis. All within 1/2 hour drive. You will need a Car.
