Very nice estate. The main house has character and a tasteful and high-quality interior. The large well-equipped kitchen and the large dining tables in the house as well as in the garden allow all guests to cook and enjoy together in a stylish and private atmosphere. The park and surroundings are well maintained with great emphasis on ecology and the promotion of biodiversity, which I greatly appreciate.

Charming home style rest. It actually felt like a home because it is. Lovely couple running it, breakfast in the living room, basic but adequate. Comfy bed. Don't be expecting 5 star it's not that. It felt like staying at a friend's. Great for motorcycle overnight stays. Off street parking.

Everything. It was such a special stay. Jean-jacqued and Lu are so lovely and the place so charming. We were in an authentic rural area. So peaceful, relaxing and pleasant. We could play with the children directly outside, no traffic, just garden, tidy grass and a lovely cat :) The house was cozy and spacious and the location in perfect to experience a real Dordogne experience, close to touristic places as well as nice lakes and parks such as the neufont lake or the Jacquou park. We would always recommend this place. Thank you JJ and Lu!

What a little gem in the middle of Vergt. A basic room but clean and comfortable. Wonderful meal in the restaurant was an unexpected delight. Staff were wonderful.

The property is very spacious and has been beautifully furnished with an extremely large and comfortable bed. While the bed, the shower and the fantastic breakfast are what you’d expect from a quality Chambre d’Hôte, it’s all the extra little touches that the hosts have added that make this a stand out find.

This is a beautifully presented place with everything laid out with style. The hostesses were very welcoming and friendly and could not have done more for us. A huge, comfortable bed and a lovely breakfast. Highly recommended and worth a detour to stay here

    Patisserie was not open in village. Small convenience store had essentials but not always fresh bread or pastries. A cafe / restaurant is due to open very soon & this will be a great asset to the village. A five minute walk from La Banne Nord will take you to the village.
