The hotel/bar/resto was most accomdating as we 3 cyclists arrived. Problem: it was on a French national holiday. Most local restos were closed as was their kitchen so they kindly offered us an excellent cheese and salad evening meal. Perfect! After cycling n Km we just needed beer, bread and salad. With that we were off to their really good bedrooms and, in the morning to a good breakfast

Dear Thierry - many thanks for a perfect stay. We enjoyed your cooking for breakfast (cakes and fruit from the garden). The high reviews are well justified, it is a perfect quiet ‘country’ base for exploring and cycling the Loire. Hope to return next year.

Lovely little spot, charmingly and lovingly arranged. Friendly hosts staying nearby greeted us and showed us around. Very pleasant little garden area for morning coffee. Lovely shower room and upstairs bedroom. We took an evening stroll down to the river and visited Chinon the following day.

    A very quiet and peaceful area with easy access to Chinon, Saumur and Bourguiel and a wonderful winery about 700 meters (Colombier) from the property. The markets in Chinon (Thursdays) and Bourgueil (Tuesdays) are well worth visiting.

    Quiet, small town with a supermarket and boulangerie close...

    Quiet, small town with a supermarket and boulangerie close to Chinon and other Loire attractions. Advantages - it's rural, peaceful and the Vienne river is nearby too, plenty of scope for bike rides and tranquility. Disadvantages - you need a car to go to most places, including eating out. There isn't much in Beaumont, so think Chinon (10 min drive / 30 min walk) or Saumur (30 min drive) for more attractions.

    Wonderful place! IT is located in the quiet , charming village, among the vineyards. The building is very old with a long history. Room was spacious, well furnished, with amazing old fireplace and very comfortable bed. IT is clear that the host pays a lot of attention to all decor details. This hotel is also accustomed for cyclist. There is a well equiped, secured bike storage.
