It is not just about a very lovely house in a wonderful location. It was a unique experience of being a guest of welcoming and very friendly hosts. Violaine and Olivier are wonderful people open for new contacts and cultural exchange. My husband and I totally enjoyed our meals together as well as our complete stay. And the food was delicious! (Spoiler: Violaine is a professional French cook 😉). The place was amazing! To us it was a mental retreat from the city hectic and stress, into the heart of Burgundy nature where you hear no car sound and wake up in the morning with chirping birds outside the window and roses in the garden, knowing that there’s a tasty breakfast waiting and a wonderful day ahead…

Wonderful owners, very quiet location and all the space needed for our two kids after driving for a couple of hours. And bonus, it was fresh in the rooms even with 33 degrees outside!

This is a place which we have discovered 3 years ago and we are visiting this hotel each year for a couple of nights.It is in a small village which you can hike or bike. Sit at the terrace of the hotel and have your drink with only the voice of the nature. If you are looking for a quiet place with great foot , then this is the location. The dinner is amazing. Menu is changing seasonally I believe and chef is creating miracles. The hotel restaurant is worth to change the route.

Attentive and friendly hosts in a lovely rural hamlet in the heart of Burgundy. Perfectly positioned for an overnight stop between Calais and the south or a longer stay to explore the area. The evening meal on offer reflected local cuisine and was very enjoyable.

Maison Galimard in Flavigny is an absolute gem. The hospitality is unmatched – Sophie, the host, makes you feel immediately welcome. The breakfast is a highlight: fresh, local, and made with great care. The charming accommodation is perfect for a peaceful and comfortable stay with a cozy atmosphere. Everything is well-maintained and provides the ideal base to enjoy the surroundings. Another wonderful addition is Sky, the super friendly and enthusiastic dog, who brings an extra touch of warmth to the experience. Highly recommended – a truly special place!

We stayed one night at Algranate – Maison du Tisserand as a family of three (plus our miniature schnauzer) on a road trip from London to Rome, and it was truly unforgettable. The village is picture-perfect – peaceful, charming, and full of storybook beauty. We took a lovely walk through the village and enjoyed a glass of wine and a treat at the local sweet factory – a hidden gem. On arrival, we were warmly greeted by the owners, Marie and Gautier, and given perfect parking right outside. Our room was spacious and beautifully set up, with a cosy little nook just right for our 4-year-old. The bathroom was modern and generously sized, and the walk up the tower to our room felt like something out of a fairytale. We had originally planned to eat out at a nearby restaurant, but we changed our minds and decided to dine at the B&B – and we’re so glad we did. There was no menu – just a fresh, seasonal, beautifully prepared dinner that was also thoughtfully tailored for our daughter. We had an aperitif of traditional Kir, followed by excellent local wines, and an unforgettable meal. Unfortunately, during our walk, our dog was bitten by another dog that was off-leash. It wasn’t a serious injury, but when we told Marie and Gautier, they were incredibly concerned and kind. They immediately drove us to their trusted vet and insisted on covering all the costs – even though the incident had nothing to do with them. Their care, compassion, and sense of responsibility was far beyond anything we expected, and we are so grateful. The next morning, we were treated to a gorgeous breakfast – fresh fruit, lemon water, homemade mini scones (which they encouraged us to take for the road), and the most delicious hot chocolate for our daughter – so good I added it to my coffee! We only stayed one night, but we left feeling as though we had discovered something truly special.

Apartment is really adorable, comfortable and spacious, nice decorated, with all you need. Karine and Alain are great hosts. We had great time here
