The location was beautiful, unique castle-like building. You need to be able to climb many stairs to stay here. Village walks were wonderful with a valley view at every turn. Breakfast was delicious buffet with croissants and muesli, juice, yogurts fruits & more.

Bernard was an excellent host, very friendly and welcoming. The room was charming as was the breakfast room and patio. Breakfast was outstanding, great coffee, fresh breads, homemade jams, lovely antique dishes. Bernard also helped us with our travel plans for the next day which was greatly appreciated.

Booked this room very last minute in an emergency at 9pm after my first hotel turned out to be a scam. The Host accepted my request and immediately helped out, even came to find me on the street when I got lost. She was very kind and understanding despite the language barrier. She put my bike in the garage out the rain and also made me breakfast also. More importantly as a solo female traveller, it felt very safe and homely which is just what I wanted that night. Lots if space, hot shower and warm bed :)

The hosts were very amenable to allow us to check in early so we could drop our bags and bikes and visit the chateau. The room was comfortable and quiet and the breakfast was good. The hosts recommended a restaurant and the food was very good. Our bikes were placed in a secure place. A fabulous visit and we would definitely recommend this property.
