The building (Pazo) is unique. Very well preserved keeping the atmosphere but yet very confortable. Common areas were as they would have been 100 years ago. I loved the visit were Pazo staff explained us the history of the building and former owners. The breakfast was very good A buffet with lots of local products. I loved the bica and the local meat products. Prior to arrival Pazo da Pena sent us an email detailing the local atractions and places to have lunch and dinner. Pazo Staff was very helpfull. Everything was design to make the experience even more enjoyable.

Good to know: you can charge your electric car over the night, by request. Great location, the property has large rooms with private bedrooms but also you have common rooms well equipped for spending some time. The staff is friendly with you and your pet as well. The breakfast was great as well. Location is amazing.

We liked everything, the location of the house, Pobra de Trives, the house itself, renovated with style and taste, the homemade breakfast, and the hospitality and kindness of the host. We will come back.

This is a Spanish Hostel of the highest quality in rural Galicia. Yes, rooms were all mixed dorm rooms with bunk beds but we were very lucky to have the whole place to ourselves as there were non other guests.

    Very good location to explore Ribeira Sacra.

    Very good location to explore Ribeira Sacra. Skying may not be best option but you have a good access to the sailing routes on river Siil and Miño. You also have lots of walking routes to enjoy the surroundings.
