the facility is located on the very edge of the old town, which gives a quiet atmosphere but the most important attractions are literally 3 minutes away, beautiful architecture, we loved the balcony, beautiful decor, very comfortable bed, discreet staff, there were no downsides to the stay. right next to the hotel there is a commercial market with seafood and restaurants serving extra fresh food, the rooftop terrace where you can have a drink is absolutely beautiful

Loved the ambience of the hotel and quirky finishes to the decor. Our balcony room was a really good size and bathroom was fab! The staff were all so helpful and friendly and being able to spend a day in the rooftop pool area was an absolute highlight - so relaxing with amazing views. Night time drinks up there with chilled DJ set was also worth a visit.

FAQs about hotels in Málaga

The Colourful Soul of the Costa del Sol

The birthplace of Picasso is as colourful as an artist’s palette, from the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea to the golden sun, which gives 300 days of sunshine per year. When the sun sets, the vibrant nightlife awakens and you’ll find your place amongst the youthful square of the old centre, the trendy bars of La Malagueta or on one of the terraces of Pedregalejo.

There’'s also rich history underneath the sun and fun. Alcazaba is a Moorish castle from the 11th century and just next to it are the remnants of a Roman Theatre. The white stone tower of the Malaga Cathedral rises up in the heart of the city centre, and offers an interesting respite from sun bathing on the magnificent and popular beaches.

A more modern history can be appreciated by visiting the birthplace of Picasso and a museum full of exhibitions by Malaga’s most famous resident. A more relaxed Spanish city than Madrid and Barcelona, Malaga is still the gateway to the Costa del Sol and the busy Malaga Airport is only 10 km from the centre of town.

From budget hostels to 5-star luxury hotels, with Booking.com you’re sure to find the perfect accommodation for your sunny holiday.

Malaga is very good place for families and groups of friends to visit. Just be sure to check the weather, as it can be very hot and you might not feel like going out during the day.The cathedral is stunning, and the marina is lovely to walk around. the food is delicious and the city is not too big which makes it easy to explore. They had factory outlet if you want to go for shopping and nice high street shops. above all i love their sweets.

Our biggest disappointment was the “famous” El Pimpi restaurant which we had specifically booked ahead of our stay in Malaga. The staff were lack lustre and not much help. They referred us to the QR code for scanning to access the menu, which was a pain to use. The service was slow and only three of our four meals arrived. No one bothered to check if everything was ok so we had to physically flag down another member of staff to raise this issue. The response was more or less “it’ll be along shortly, don’t panic”. It wasn’t, and we didn’t cos the the food was not worth getting excited about. Very poor all round, will not be back. There are lots of really good eateries in Malaga that you don’t need to book ahead.

I liked the cycle ride into the city, and exploring the old town and port. I enjoyed a self-guided architecture walk/cycle ride. We cycled to the botanical gardens which were amazing. The old town was lovely and Picasso's house was very interesting. The food was delicious.

Have visited Malaga many times and quite often go for the Xmas lights which are amazing. We’ve travelled a lot and this is one of our favourite cities. Great shopping, restaurants and cultural areas. Beaches good too. Easily accessible from the airport by train at 2.80 euros. Good connection to other major cities by Renfe train network accessible at Mario Zambrano station.

A lovely, spotlessly clean hotel in a perfect location for the Old Town of Malaga - restaurants, museums and shops. The seafont and promenade are only a short walk away. The rooftop terrace is a hidden gem. A bus stop to the promenade, bus and train stations, and the C1 train terminal linking the airport is only 50 metres away. Thank you to the lovely in house team for making our stay so enjoyable.
