United KingdomAn excellent hotel which actually felt quite luxurious. Cheap by European standards, but also better than other hotels we stayed in for around the same price in Algeria. Reception staff were helpful, cheerful and friendly (gave advice about getting around town, and booked a Yassir taxi for us so that we could visit Djemila easily and cheaply). A mixture of languages (English, French and German) are spoken, so many foreign travellers will be able to communicate easily. Breakfast buffet substantial and varied. Laundry was done efficiently. Twin room was large and comfortable. Little more than five minutes' walk from the train station and on a main road with tram stop next door connecting to the bus station; an easy walk from the city's main museum.
