Great place to sip cocktails by the pool. A great place to stay after hiking the volcano and just doing nothing. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We really loved our stay at Hotel Savana! It’s in a great location, we had an amazing view of the whole city from our room which was very spacious with comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The staff was extremely helpful with everything, they gave us all important information, we had our dirty laundry washed, breakfast was good, and we would definitely come and stay here again!

Everything. Katya is very welcoming, cooks very (very very) well and takes care of her client like no one did in Cap Verde. We have spent 2 weeks in Cabo Verde and haven’t met anyone that kind, welcoming and helpful. The place is also amazing. Out of nowhere, facing the sea, natural swimming pool… you name it! Katya also offers a few options to discover Fogo island like pico de fogo.

Yeah hotel very secure clean but needs refurbishment realy heeds staff very good at breakfast at reception cleaner over all my favourite place .I have stay room 212 lovely room but cupboard door furniture need lots attention door as well very young team all very good i will stay again this is 3 time Bed vere comfortable good views to Brava islandas. I can recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Sao Filipe. the location is great, next to the beach and in the city center. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast very tasty. But most of all the friendly staff will help you out with anything. we rented a car at the reception, they picked us up at the airport for free and helped us out with our next stay in CV. Will definitely cone back here if I have the opportunity!

I lived the old colonial time house, which was transformed into the hotel. Renovation is really well done which preserves the spirit of the building and is very atmospheric. Emmanuel, chef of staff is very friendly and helpful. He also makes great cocktails! Best place to stay in Sao Filipe.

    Two days in Fogo is way too short - but I booked nine more days in the wonderful hotel Ocean View - and that was a perfect lenght for visiting this VERY interesting island Fogo. But DO NOT react to ANYBODY offering You ANYTHING in the street - I had real bad experience with that - a tourist guide cheated mo for one hundred euro plus a wasted day...
