This is a simple hotel in a northern suburb of San Jose with off-street parking. The owner is responsive and professional, the room was quiet at night (less so during the day) and the bed comfortable. I was able to do some work in the lounge area.

very cozy place. the interior feels almost maze-like with little courtyards full of tropical plants and odd-but-charming decor. room was nice aside from not having a proper reading lamp. the breakfast buffet was one of the best I've ever had, at any hotel – lots of things to choose from both local cr foods and the usual toast etc. the little restaurant next door also had some good dinner options.

We were just stopping for one night after a long flight. The connection from airport SJO was easy and fast. The bus-stop (TUASA) is only 2 minutes walking. We also took the bus to Puntarenas which was 15 minutes walking. The staff was friendly and breakfast was really good!

Not far from the airport, seems a quiet area but as it was Sunday I can't confirm. Big room, comfortable beds, big bathroom, very good standard. Big breakfast buffet (now after some days traveling in Costa Rica 4 stars hotels I can confirm it was one of the best!) Helpful staff.
