You couldn’t wish for better hosts and room/ garden / kitchen facilities / location and maybe I was lucky but all the other guests ( maximum of 12 ,at a time ) were amazing people . My 10 days were making great new friends , very kind and genuine people seem to gravitate to this beautiful hotel . You will see monkeys in the trees and wake to their howls & the bird life and that’s it , no road noise , leisurely coffee and breakfast then onto your day :) Absolutely faultless , highly highly recommend . Thank you so very much Hani & Honza , cannot wait to return 🕊️❤️

The location of this place is just out of this world - a short walk to one of the most beautiful (and next to empty!) beaches I've been to with a difficult to top sunset view. The aircon worked well which was much appreciated. Our room was spacious with a lovely terrace with a hammock. The owner and staff couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. Lovely breakfast on the restaurant terrace with a view.

Best accommodation in Costa Rica so far. The location is perfect just next to the beach, free parking, amazing breakfast. They just help in whatever you need in any moment, good communication with the owner and the people working here. Very relaxing and the value for the service you get is just perfect.     It’s not for families or people wanting hustler and bustle...

    It’s not for families or people wanting hustler and bustle and night life (besides the monkeys across the street)! There’s no shops besides a couple of Mercados. This is the type of rest we needed though.. Definitely wouldn’t stay in Samara , too busy for us.

    The property is exceptionally well kept and clean. It is set back from the road a good distance so you don’t hear traffic noise at all, just the sounds of nature around. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need as well as covered totes for your dry goods. No air conditioning in the rooms, but we likely wouldn’t have used it anyway. The rooms have a fan and good ventilation. Great wifi. 5 min drive to Playa Carillo which is great for swimming and spending time under the palms.

    The owner was very helpful and friendly. The hotel has a diverse clientele with about equal numbers of North Americans, Europeans and Costa Ricans. That made for a great atmosphere. Extremely restful spot and friendly staff. Though not huge, the pool is larger than many found in more expensive hotels in the area and it is in a great spot.

    The hosts are super friendly and the restaurant and breakfast is good. The garden and swimming pool are really nice and we liked to sit and relax there. It is close to the beaches. The service is totally fine and good fibe.
