A very unique place to be. A must visit place. We loved it even though we can’t read Chinese and speak a little only. We enjoyed our very short time there. Even in the rain it was great fun. Fenghuang is really nice.
Fenghuang is really nice. We've traveled a lot around China and people have been very friendly. One aspect of Fenghuang that we like was that it doesn't seem to get many western tourists nor has it changed to accommodate them --- for the better. The tourist maps tend to be in Chinese (only) which works but travelers should try to have some level of awareness of what to see and do --- that said, it's really nice just wandering the streets and alley ways without much of a plan.Guest review byKyleUnited States
