An amazing host Lise - a very helpful, knowlegable and friendly person with who I had a very intersting conversation. I would honestly recomend this BnB to anyone. Such a lovely athmosphere built by Lise. I can’t wait to find some time and go back :) A wonderful breakfast served by Lise with a super cheap price. Amazing, tasty, fresh and healthy. Oh my goodness, this place was by far the most perfect we've ever stayed at! The location was excellent, with convenient on-site parking. We traveled as a family and brought my in-laws to experience the cable car and snow for the first time. The snow-covered mountains right outside our window made it all feel like a dream! The amenities were fantastic and met all our needs. We stayed for two nights, and they were truly amazing nights with our family. The accommodation was impeccably clean, well-equipped, and incredibly cozy, making us feel right at home. The staff was friendly and attentive, going out of their way to ensure we had a memorable stay. We were also impressed by the thoughtful touches throughout the property, from the warm decor to the small gestures that made our stay even more special. It was such a delightful experience that we will definitely be returning! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel und Restaurant Chäseren in Schönengrund. The guesthouse is extremely charming and welcoming, surrounded by breathtaking scenery with a direct view of the Swiss Alps and the impressive Säntis mountain — it looks like a postcard! The rooms are very cozy and warm, with windows that frame the landscape like a painting. The food is a true highlight: homemade, prepared with great care, and absolutely delicious. When we arrived, we were welcomed with a meal made especially for us — a gesture that shows the warmth and hospitality of the place. We are very happy with our choice and will always carry this experience in our hearts. Highly recommended!

It was a nice weekend visit of Appenzell. The hotel is located on the main square of the city. We had a good room with a cot provided for free. The room was equipped with comfy beds, bath, wardrobe, a couple of arm chairs and a table, free WiFi. Breakfast was fresh, tasty and with many options. We had a dinner at the hotel and were satisfied with ordered dishes. If you are with small children, you could find some books, colouring books, some toys and entertaining items. Besides restaurant, the hotel has its own bakery / cafeteria, which is open all day long.

    Visiting Santis was the best part of visiting Urnäsch.

    Visiting Santis was the best part of visiting Urnäsch. It is a must see. Have awesome views from the summit and also learnt quite a lot about weather and weather measurement. I really enjoyed traditional swiss dishes for my lunch at Santis Terrace Hotel and dinner at Restaurant Lowen in Urnäsch. Urnäsch can be comfortably reached by train from Zurich. There is public transport bus 791 from Urnäsch Bahnhof to Santis Cable Car Station. There are lots of hiking trails in the region. I recommend you to go on the Rondom Appenzoll hike. It is a short easy round trip hike around Appenzell which can be done in around 2.5 hours. In spring there are flowers everywhere and every part of the hike looks like a post card.
