Solothurn's Arsenal Museum has the largest public-access collection of medieval and renaissance arms and armour in Switzerland, and is a great mind-opnener to visit. Solothurn is a walled medieval town that suffered the ravages of the Wars of Religion, but now has historic buildings and architecture everywhere. Excellent buffet breakfast with a selection of cheese, cold meats, boiled egg, cereals, juices, selection of fresh bread, croissant and roles, they provided some gluten free bread at request, teas and coffes included as well in the breakfast.
