We cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is. The decor and detail are next to none, the staff kind and knowledgeable, and the breakfast was very high quality. We visited Como and would only stay on lake Lugano from here on out. Morcote has a ton of charm and great restaurants, and getting around with public transportation was easy. Highly recommend!!

Everything was very clean and we were very well welcomed by the hosts. We booked a table in the restaurant and the food was very good. The wine selection is amazing good. The location was great and we had a fantastic view from our room and we were able to charge our eletric car directly at the hotel. Thanks for the hospitality.

*A Luxury Apartment managed by a Perfectionist and a Big Hearted Host* First, The Apartment. The place is set with state of the art and Luxury Furniture and Appliances. Even the crockery & cutlery placed in apartment is of top notch brands and of very high quality. Cooking range and all other appliances were almost new and of very good brands. All the gadgets and appliances placed were very clean & working. Apartment is Ideal for cooking meals as all cooking ingredients, More than Basic, were provided free of charge by the host. On our request, she provided some tomato’s and spices also, free of charge. 👏 Our Perfectionist Host has taken into account all the possible things a guest can need to a level of Pillow Spray/Fragrance, Beach Towel, Sunglasses, a hat, sun screen body lotion, new and all full toiletries, Pringles and a lot other free things, including Lindt Chocolates and snacks (Pix attached) and with abundant refills. The Host. She is a perfectionist and seems to come from a very Nobel family. She was there to guide us how to reach there and anything we need over and above her host purview, she provided it with a big smile and free of charge. On checkout day, We had our train 2 hours after the checkout time. We just asked her that can there be extension in checkout time without mentioning how much time we needed. She displayed yet another big hearted gesture and extended our checkout time till 2000 hrs (8 PM), much more than we actually needed. Overall, We were so impressed by the way she treated us as a host that we ACTUALLY FELT LIKE A GUEST, first time in our over a decade of international travel. So we cancelled our next destination and stayed in this apartment more than we planned, bearing cancellation cost of our next destination, considering it worth bearing. Lastly, we left this Limone Apartment with an affirmation that… WE WILL BE BACK SOON and Surely, WE WILL LIVE THERE FOR MORE TIME.

Morcote. No doubt one of most beautiful places in Europe. All Ticino is beautiful but Morcote is the pearl of Ticino. And if you really want to feel 100% Morcote all the time, 24/24, then Casa Angiolina is a perfect place to stay. You will get more Morcote there than at a luxury hotel at the other end of village :). You will be exposed to the same feeling of Ticino both inside and outside of your room. The place of our stay was clean but this is a kind of standard in Switzerland. Manuela is a very nice person, open for contact and always willing to help - and this goes above already high Swiss standards. Swiss people on the south are a bit different then the others from north :) . If you have any problems or wishes - just talk to her. She did help us with many valuable information about Morcote and surroundings. She helped us with our breakfasts in a bar 3 minutes walking.

    You must take a swim in the lake. Near the parking garage is a swimming platform. The lake is perfect. Don't test the water first, Don't dip a toe. Take a few steps back, run, jump high, Dive in a resurface a human reborn. Months latter I still think about that dive in the water in the most beautiful lake I have ever seen. The town is expensive. But If your traveling through. Stop my kid love car spotting from the cafes.

    It is a pearl of the Ticino area.

    It is a pearl of the Ticino area. The park Scherrer in Morcote is great, the village is just lovely and the people are nice. Stroll around, and enjoy the views and the village. Later you can dine in Pizzeria della Torre.

    Paradise!!

    Paradise!! Very accessible, there are buses & trains, boats going to the center. Quiet & peaceful & love to hear the bells from time to time. & the famous scenery is just around. BTW, just want to add for the Albergo Hotel- staff are nice & kind. The bus stop is just inftont of the hotel.Foods are delicious.. I love Morcote❤❤❤

    Small village.

    Small village. Stayed during winter, so no restaurant was open or stores whatsoever. Also due to covid so I can't comment on that. Else the views are beautiful around Morcote. There's this old structure where you go upstairs to reach a church. While going upstairs there are small gardens where you can rest and enjoy the view.

    The location was perfect - in a quiet, pretty neighbourhood a stone’s throw away from the busier Morcote, right by the lake with a terrific view. There were more than one trail to Morcote and beyond. It was an old house and I like old houses :) , very well maintained and very clean so I feel very comfortable. Sitting on the patio having a nice, cool drink from the excellent bar, after a day of hiking was pure bliss. I ate every evening in the hotel restaurant with varied and delicious food, all served with warm hospital

    We checked in to Swiss Diamond on our honeymoon. The view was fantastic, the hotel had upgraded us to a lake view and gave us some chocolates as a little honeymoon gift. The breakfast was delicious and a good range of fresh food and drinks. The Venus wellness center (Hammam spa, pool, steam room, sauna) was lovely, and it was nice to relax by the pool, which was often to ourselves. The free shuttle bus was good to get into Lugano.

    We stayed here for three nights in June 2024. The room was spacious and comfortable with a wonderful view of the lake. The hotel is charming and the staff were all very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The pizza is one of the best I have ever had and the village of Morcote is very beautiful and tranquil. I would be very happy to stay here again.

    We really enjoyed the weekend spent in Morcote at la Ca' Sistina Red. The apartment was so cosy, very clean and comfortable. Also, it was well allocated. Nadia was very helpful and quick to respond. I highly recommend Ca' Sistina Red.

    We always stay at this little place in Morcote. It is situated next to the lake, in this traditional house, very authentic. Rooms are clean and cozy, and the staff is very welcoming.
