We had an amazing stay in the Edge of Avalon Inn. Very comfortable and modern room. Super quiet. Very yummy dinner location with friendly stuff. The next mornign we got surprised with a complementary breakfast. Perfect stopp-over on the Avalon Peninsula.

This is a wonderful experience! The owner is a 5 generation lighthouse keeper family. Her family home has been totally renovated and is in a tiny community 15 minutes from the best whale watching we have ever experienced! The hosts have created an incredible culinary feast both for dinner and breakfast filled with local and home made treats. The wine pairings were delicious and thoughtfully chosen and the company around the table brought to life the real Newfoundland welcome a camaraderie. We are so glad we went.

Trepassey was a great stopping off point for us as it was close to Mistaken Point which we were very keen to visit. We did not have time to explore the area much but did go out for a tour with Tony who gives walking tours and ATV tours, This is a very friendly place and well worth the visit. We stayed at the Edge of Avalon which is a fantastic place super friendly and they have a very nice restaurant serving good food with helpful and friendly staff.
