We were made very welcome despite arriving late and shown around by our host who could not have been more helpful throughout our stay. The room was large and comfortable and we slept really well. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice eaten in a lovely room overlooking the sea. Brad is an excellent chef and we chose to have lunch which was delicious . He and Tanya are a great team.Brad even contacted us after we had left to tip us off about a nearby iceberg as he knew we hoped to see one! We had a wonderful stay and would very highly recommend.

The views from the deck were awesome; the purity of looking at the stars at night was incredible. I have never seen so many stars before. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and the views from two of the bedrooms (from the beds) was unbelivable. Imagine waking up in the morning to look at the ocean. The house is old and reminded me of my childhood as it had so many similarities to my grandparents' home. The ceilings are about 7 feet and I loved this as it is typical of older Newfoundland homes. The bathroom was large and well appointed but on the other hand the kitchen was on the small side; however, it wouldn't prevent me from going back again. Simply put, we loved it! I felt very relaxed at the end of our four-day stay.
