Niagara-on-the-lake is a fabulous location.
Niagara-on-the-lake is a fabulous location. So much to see, do and take in. From Fort George historic museum, to the Shaw Festival, to the beautiful flowered lined streets, the golf course bar view of NY across the river to wineries. We were there for 2 nights 3 days and really enjoyed every it of it. The restaurants like The Cannery at Pillar & Post (they have a beautiful garden across the street) to Tiara Restaurant at Queen’s Landing, food and service are excellent. This charming city is welcoming. We felt completely safe as we strolled the streets visiting the shops and dining in the local restaurants. Of course, dinner at the Prince of Wales was perfect. The park and many inviting benches made it easy to take a leisurely stroll even in the heat.
