Beautiful place. It's situated in quiet place right on the shore of the Wolfgangsee. We liked to walk to and from St. Wolfgang on the foothpath by the lake. Our Junior Suite had nice terrace and view to the lake. Bed was very comfortable. We also liked the way the how the breakfast was served.

This hotel is fantastic. It is run by a gorgeous family who welcomed us friendly right upon our arrival. They helped us organize our daily programs and paid constant attention on how we felt ourselves. The room was extremely comfortable for a pair of us, it even had a small kitchen in the corner. It was absolutely clean and well equiped. The breakfast was simply beyond our expectations, fresh, tasty, there was a huge selection of goodies. There is a restaurant in the Hotel as well, offering not only Austrian but Thai (!) food too. It is good to eat a spicy curry when you had enough snitzel over the whole week. The balcony was nice but it looked to the road that was a bit noisy with open windows, but the crystal clear, cool air helped us have a good sleep. The beach is close, roughly 5 minute walk, you can rent bikes too at the hotel at a fair price. All in all, we could not have expected more care and a more pleasant stay.

My wife and I booked this hotel for our marriage in St. Wolfgang. We booked 4 rooms for 7 people and a dog. Our stay was absolutely exceptional and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Our rooms were fantastic with a view to the lake. Each room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice and the check-in was smooth and easy. Our pre-requests for specific beds were met and each one of us received the exact room we wanted. Breakfast was rich with plenty of tables available both indoors and outdoors. My brother and brother in law loved the Sauna and the private beach and my parents enjoyed the silence and peacefulness. Parking was available on site throughout our stay which was also great. The hotel has its own restaurant as well as plenty of other restaurants near by. Overall it was a great stay that enabled us to have a perfect wedding. We highly appreciate the service we received and will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting St. Wolfgang.

    A more beautiful peaceful vacation could not be imagined. The mountains are breathtaking. The quietness speaks to you, and I left feeling more peaceful than I have in years. We were there in May, and I understand the tourist scene in June and July is a bit busier. There is a lot to do in the village besides gazing at the scenery. Delicious eats, friendly hosts, charming souvenir shops and the ferry that goes up and down the St Wolfgangsee are some of the delights.

    I love this little town.

    I love this little town. It is a great location for exploring other areas, but the town itself is beautiful. We got to see them raise the May Pole and have a bit of a festival with dancing, music, and great food and drinks!

    St Wofgang is a small, beautiful town situated right on the lake. A good amount of restaurants and shops. The town had a music festival and dance performance outside while we were there. Seems like there are always things going on at the weekend in the spring/summer. We enjoyed a boat ride on the lake, visited Hallstadt and the saltmines there, and took the cog railroad up the mountain for amazing views of the whole area. We stayed for five nights and it was perfect.

    Excellent place with so many possibilities in domain of...

    Excellent place with so many possibilities in domain of walking, Wellness & Spa activities, exploring restaurants with great food and drinks, etc. It is traditionally oriented to the Austrian culture and has incredible nature of the Wolfgang See surroundings... We like St. Wolfgang so much and we will be here for many years in the future during our vacations.

    St. Wolfgang is lovely but not pedestrian-friendly.

    St. Wolfgang is lovely but not pedestrian-friendly. The town is chopped up by a highway tunnel. The road from the Garni Buchinger hotel into the town is narrow, mostly with no sidewalks and pitch dark at night. There's a lot of traffic on this road making it unsafe for pedestrians. For this reason we had no choice but to drive the short distance into town each night for dinner.

    We spent here 3 nights. The view from the room was amazing, the air is very fresh. The lake is 10-15 mins walk from the hotel which is nice. The staff was very kind and helpful. There are outdoor activities available (hiking, biking, kayak etc.).

    Very nice apartment, near the center od St. Wolfgang and even near the small entrance to the lake- very good for paddleboard. The host was very kind. Parking is next to the house for 12€ per day or a little further for 4€.
