A truly wonderful castle stay, made even more special by the warm and gracious hospitality of the castellan, Mr. Bauer. Our visit felt like stepping back in time — a unique and memorable experience. The peaceful surroundings, stunning views, fresh air, and the nearby lake all added to the charm. For nature lovers, there are also plenty of scenic hiking trails in the area. Beautiful location. Great for both summer and winter vacations. Hotel is very welcoming and cozy. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. The lake is amazing, clean and perfect for swimming. Many water activities available too. Great if you have a bicycle, if not you can rent, nice cycling routes around thr lake and mountains.

We enjoyed the fact that the hotel upgraded us upon our arrival which was a nice and pleasant surprise! The lake view was great! The whole SPA and pool area was amazing with many people but with never the feeling it was crowded. Food and breakfast very good! We could not hope for more for our short stay

They used it for their living, so you can expect proper well equiped house. warm, with kitchen where you will not miss anything. and to watch HarryPotter with kids in their Harry Potter room, is unforgetable experience. I think Mattrace were quit good, just pillow were not my cup of tea. Rita and Peter are very kind.
