Everything about this hotel is perfect. The rooms are amazing with beautiful modern decor with a stunning well equipped Spar and lovely bar/restaurant with Staff who are so professional helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this amazing Alpine Gem. Should be a 5star rating not 4

No words to describe this hotel. Candles, flowers, decorations everywhere. Felt like in SPA, not in hotel room. Mikael (sorry if wrong spelled name) was the most wonderful person, cared about everything, was very friendly and warm. Recommend this hotel 100%.

We recently stayed at Lederer hotel in Kaprun and we were thoroughly impressed. The location is perfect, offering breathtaking views of the Alpe. The rooms were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with all the amenities one could need. One of the highlights was the Kaprun Summer Card, which the hotel provided. This card gave us free or discounted access to many attractions and activities in the region, including the stunning Kitzsteinhorn Glacier and scenic lake cruises. It added incredible value to our trip and made exploring Kaprun and the surrounding areas so much more enjoyable.  Overall, Lederer hotel  provided an outstanding experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kaprun.

Our recent three-night stay at Alpenhaus Kaprun was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff, who made us feel right at home, including our furry companion. The room we stayed in was incredibly comfortable, offering a perfect blend of modern amenities and charming Alpine decor. It was a cozy retreat after our daily adventures, and our dog loved the space as much as we did. The hotel's decor throughout was a beautiful homage to the Alpine region, creating a serene and picturesque atmosphere. Every corner of the facility exuded warmth and elegance, making our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. Each meal was a culinary delight, with a variety of delicious options that catered to all tastes. The quality and presentation of the dishes were top-notch, and we looked forward to every dining experience. The spa at Alpenhaus Kaprun was a true haven of relaxation. We indulged in the fantastic saunas, which were the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. The spa facilities were immaculate and offered a range of treatments that left us feeling rejuvenated and pampered. Overall, our stay at Alpenhaus Kaprun was an unforgettable experience.     Kaprun is a very nice place for someone interested in spending 3/4 days for outdoor activities and hiking in the nearby mountains. There are a lot of possibilities for visiting the mountains with the Teleferik although a bit expensive for a family of 4 persons.

    The Geography and skiing are everyone's reason for going to Kaprun. They are both excellent. The town itself was pretty quiet in early April. Pizza shops dominated the dining seen. Some of the business had Arabic words written on their signs. I don't believe that these words were necessary for Arab travelers, but detract from the authentic alpine atmosphere. The ski lift was my favorite facility. The Aplenhaus restaurant was the best place to eat. I would avoid going up the mountain on anything but the first lift in the moring

    Skiing Kaprun / Zell am See in March is excellent but the weather can be changeable . Also can be busy on the glacier at times and the route back to the Alpincentrr can be bumping and very congested. Great apres ski options at the bottom of the maiskogelbahn . Baumbar and Paletti are particularly excellent . The Bründl shop / ski hire location at the foot of the maiskogel provide lockers which are brilliant when you finish for the day to deposit your skis and boots , change into normal shoes and hit the apres ski entertainment. Great staff here as wel , always helpful and friendly

    Kaprun has a small town feel about it.

    Kaprun has a small town feel about it. Roads are kept clear and the area spotlessly clean. Everything we need for skiing or just enjoying a winter break is available. Fellow tourists and locals are all great company.

    Very friendly and helpfull staff. Good location in the quiet middle of Kaprun. Ski bus stop in front of the hotel. Very thought through, modern looking room with ample storage. All the room equipment is good name brand quality, new and works well. Full size fridge and dishwasher. Nice, spacious clean, well built bathroom. Extremely comfy bed (I want that matress at home now!). Locking forced air dryer with space for 4x sets of boots per room in the ski room.

    We stayed in an apartment, which was spacious and relatively clean. The beds were comfortable, the wi-fi was decent and the rooms were quite soundproof. The staff was helpful and did their best. None of our issues was caused or could be solved by the staff. The skibus stops almost in front of the hotel (150-200m). BUT!
