Etmissl was a lovely small village to stay in. The people there were all very friendly. We got lucky and stumbled upon a Maypole celebration that was incredible to watch. The meals in the restaurant were spectacular (e.g. wild garlic ravioli with morel mushrooms in a cream sauce or the lake trout on a bed of stinging nettle risotto). We ate there twice in two days. And one of the owners made a point of coming over to us during the Maypole celebration to explain what the tradition was all about for them.

Breakfast was very tasty and fresh with a wide choice of products. The house is very cute and has a beautiful view of the mountains. All major attractions were within walking distance. The bus stop is near. The owner of the house is a very nice woman who helped us with all questions.

The rooms have duvets filled with alpaca wool, which are incredibly soft and lightweight. Breakfast has a warm, homely feel – in the best possible way. Accomodation in private house, owner's family living downstairs. Very nice people, appartement is completely newly reconstructed, all superb clean, we stayed for two nights and we felt really well treated. Except coffee and tea we found water and some beers in the fridge. Appartement is spacious with kitchen with all you need to make a breakfast or refreshment for the trip. Humorous detail was couple of condoms prepared in bed table :-)
