Etmissl was a lovely small village to stay in. The people there were all very friendly. We got lucky and stumbled upon a Maypole celebration that was incredible to watch. The meals in the restaurant were spectacular (e.g. wild garlic ravioli with morel mushrooms in a cream sauce or the lake trout on a bed of stinging nettle risotto). We ate there twice in two days. And one of the owners made a point of coming over to us during the Maypole celebration to explain what the tradition was all about for them.

Breakfast was very tasty and fresh with a wide choice of products. The house is very cute and has a beautiful view of the mountains. All major attractions were within walking distance. The bus stop is near. The owner of the house is a very nice woman who helped us with all questions.

The rooms have duvets filled with alpaca wool, which are incredibly soft and lightweight. Breakfast has a warm, homely feel – in the best possible way. This is an exceptional place: the old house in the garden, tastefully designed modern apartment and very nice owners! And of course, beautiful mountains all around. Next summer we must stay longer. Or even this one :-)

The apartment exceeded our expectations. The beautiful area of Aflenz, the wonderful view of the surroundings, the fresh air and the friendly atmosphere made us feel at home. The host, Ms. Andrea Kammerhofer, is open and so friendly. The breakfast service war perfect and everything tasted great! My family and I will definitely come back again.

Nice, clean and quite modern rooms, very quiet. Very friendly and helpful owner. Breakfast available from a guesthouse next door. Easy to find location, within walking distance to restaurants and supermarket. Great base point for wandering around Steiermark. Will definitely come again!
