Gyumri is the soul of Armenia. The people are so very talented and you feel that in every step you take around the city. Make sure to check out the local museums and eateries, from Aregak bakery to Cherkezi Dzor Restaurant. I love Gyumri.
I love Gyumri. Its original look, buildings, streets to walk and stroll, warm and welcoming people. It is trying to establish its real status as the 3rd largest city in Armenia. After all it used to be Armenia's capital ... With gg shuttle it's 1 hour 40 minutes with express train it's 2 hour 40 minutes from Yerevan. Gyumri is a wonderful town that you want to discover. Every corner tells a story and touches your heart. It has a unique, only-Gyumri-like profile. Just walking in the streets gives you fulfillment. People are very hospitable, the prices in the restaurants and cafes are very affordable, and the quality of the food is very high.
