Sofra is a special place in the region and the country, a labor of love by Edi and his family in a gorgeous location. You can plan a whole vacation around this spot: hiking into the Gramoz foothills; dining on lamb, fresh tomatoes and the biggest petullas I've ever seen; watching the petka and lakror-making processes. The new guesthouses at the property (a different listing on this site I think) are also very sharp and very luxe. But the whole experience is exceptional. We booked to stay here but there was a problem with the room meaning it was unfortunately unavailable to us. The manager was exceptionally communicative about this and went out of her way to find us other accomodation nearby. While we didn't get to experience the accomodation, the level of service we received is indicative of how well the place is run. We did dine in the restaurant and the food and staff were excellent.

We had an amazing time in this peaceful place surrounded by the quiet beauty of rural Albania. The hosts were incredibly warm and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The traditional food was delicious, and we loved watching locals pass by with cows and goats. A perfect spot for a relaxing and authentic experience!

Breathtaking nature, in the middle of a forest surrounded by trees and a small lake above the hotel, just a 2-minute walk. The staff were very friendly and kind. The room was clean, with a TV and Internet access, free parking, and delicious food. The landscape there was just amazing, from the hotel you can walk to a small lake and from there you can go deep in the forest or downhill to enjoy the landscape view. We loved it, came from Sweden to Albania and we did enjoy every single minute. Will be back again next year 😁
