It felt very luxurious, we wish we could have stayed a long time. The onsen was perfect, especially the indoor and outdoor hot baths. The food was good. The staff drove us to the bus station promptly at check out, which was so helpful!Okumizuma Onsen was perfect, and we hope to return!

The open-air hot-spring bath at Fudoguchikan is available 24 hours, and separate per gender. The ryokan also houses a lounge, a shop and drinks vending machines. A variety of yukata robes are available for rent, and free parking is on site. The food (dinner 怀石料理) was amazing ! Every small course is so interesting and delicious ! The ryokan is also very near the Inunakisan hiking route, we did the 30 min hike to the waterfall and the temple which was a really beautiful walk. Plus there is also a shuttle bus service to Izumosano which was very convenient

The staff at Ryokan Suzuran were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. The atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming and serene, making it a delightful retreat for both myself and my children. I must admit, we initially encountered a slight hiccup with the Wi-Fi during check-in. While we connected to the lobby Wi-Fi, we forgot to switch to the room Wi-Fi, resulting in slower internet speeds. However, once we rectified this oversight, the room Wi-Fi proved to be excellent, offering fast and reliable connectivity. Additionally, the inclusion of an Apple TV device in each room was a fantastic touch that added to our enjoyment. Overall, our experience at Ryokan Suzuran was nothing short of exceptional. From the attentive staff to the modern amenities, everything contributed to a truly memorable stay. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable accommodation experience.

We arrived a little too early for checkin and were allowed to leave our backpacks. When we returned, the host had carried our backpacks upstairs! The host was extremely kind to us in every way possible. Our room was small but great. The futon slept really well, and the kotatsu was super cosy.
