It is lovely looking, very spacious and clean, with all the amenities one would need. The rooftop is the cherry on top. :) The staff is more than happy to help you with everything you need. I surely recommend it!

We checked the roof pools but the wind was too strong to try it, so we could not enjoy, but in a nice weather it could be one of the best experience on the island. I wish we could stay longer

This restored Madeiran mansion is located 900 metres from Funchal's Old Town and has scenic views of the sea, the city and the mountains from its own botanical gardens and terraces. We loved staying at this place. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The view from the room and terrace was really beautiful. And the garden around the hotel is very nice and well looked after. The hotel is not far away from the centre, but the neighbourhood is peaceful. We had everything we needed in the room. I highly recommend this place, and I would definitely stay here again.
