The log cabin feel of the place was really lovely to stay in, the stream outside very pretty. Really well stocked kitchen so could cook proper meals and very comfortable lounge. Beds good too!

Situated in a quiet location off the main highway in National Park Village, Adventure Lodge and Motel is family-run accommodation offering free unlimited Wi-Fi access and a comfortable guest lounge with satellite TV and an open fireplace. The staff was very responsible and helpful with our late check-in and volcano hiking tour.

Situated only 10 minutes’ walk from central Ohakune and with beautiful views of Mt Ruapehu from most rooms, Ohakune Court Motel offers accommodation with an en suite bathroom and a flat-screen cable TV. Ohakune Railway Station is 3 minutes' drive away. This was one of the cheaper places we stayed so our expectations weren't high. But there was nothing major I could fault on our stay, being the owners were friendly, helpful and also easy to find. Kitchen had all the gear to cook our meals, shower was good and the hot tub in the courtyard was perfect at the end of the day.

Tongariro Springs Boutique Suites is located in Tongariro National Park. Guests at the property can enjoy views of the national park from the rooms and access to a Jacuzzi and a large hot pool, replenished with spring water. The room was very comfortable, but could have used a rug or mat at the inside of the doorway to help keep the muck from our shoes coming into the room (it was so rainy while we were there, we weren’t comfortable leaving them outside). Really appreciated the drying room. If we come back to the park, we would probably try to stay here again.

The Hobbit Motorlodge offers a hot tub and free unlimited WiFi. It is a 50-minute drive from the Tongariro Crossing, and the property can arrange for a drop-off service at a charge.

A coin-operated laundry facility is available. Free parking is provided. The location was excellent and the service was great. We appreciated the consideration of which room we were put in and felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. We loved the spa bath and the kids loved seeing the mountain first thing in the morning. Thank you!

Great location, lovely motel with large, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Good kitchen facilities. Would highly recommend this accommodation and would be very happy to stay there again.
