The nearest airport is Sibiu International, 55 km from the lodge, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. We stayed one night before we moved forward and we rested very well. The owner is very nice and the place is close to the mountain which makes it perfect for the ones who want to ride Transfăgărășan and enjoy the area. The facility is the well equipped and very clean.

The host was extremely nice and hospitality. We have got room upgrade for free. The rooms are cozy and beautiful. The property looks better than on photos.

We had a wonderfull stay at Andolia! Such a beautiful and quiet place with good food! We were picked up with a 4x4 to get to the hotel, because there was no paved road. We made use of the private sauna and had a good look at the moon with the telescope they had, it was amazing 🤗 we made hikes directly from Andolia in the mountains and relaxed at the fireplace at night. The staff was very friendly and we are sure we want to come back again!

A car rental service is available at the lodge. Perfect location! Wonderful views. Right in the middle of the two restaurants in Pestera (one SUPER vegan friendly, also a massage/yoga/spa place so expensive, and the other with an extensive traditional Romanian cuisine menu with huge portions.. and very affordable !) Our host was sweet and kind and made my husband and I an amazing breakfast catered to our dietary requirements and hunger levels. Impeccable facilities and cleanliness. We wish we stayed more than one night!!

The lodge offers a seating area with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries, a hairdryer and shower. There is also a fridge, minibar and a kettle. We made a motorcycle tour by 2 motorbike. The location is very good, the north gate of Transfogaras highmountain alpine road. The house is pretty good, clean and has a fridge and heater on wall. Wi-Fi signal is good and the staff is very friendly.

Spectacular landscape from window. In order to reach with your own car, be aware that the the last ~2km of the road are rocky, bumpy and requires some very careful, steep up and down driving.

Family atmosphere, remote location, beautiful sights and great hosts. Everything you can ever hope for when choosing such location. Home cooked meals and warm and welcoming owners make you feel like at summer vacation at your family in the countryside! 10/10 would visit again 😃

Fantastic place, nice breakfast and a surprisingly well stocked games room: there's pool, table tennis, foosball and air hockey.
