The owner is very nice and the place is close to the mountain which makes it perfect for the ones who want to ride Transfăgărășan and enjoy the area. The facility is the well equipped and very clean.

Waking up to the sight of the sun rising over the mountain was a surreal experience that will stay with me forever. The staff at Hotel Cabana Fantanele were gracious and attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. Their hospitality added an extra layer of charm to my stay, making me feel welcomed and valued throughout.

Wonderful views. Right in the middle of the two restaurants in Pestera (one SUPER vegan friendly, also a massage/yoga/spa place so expensive, and the other with an extensive traditional Romanian cuisine menu with huge portions.. and very affordable !) Our host was sweet and kind and made my husband and I an amazing breakfast catered to our dietary requirements and hunger levels. Impeccable facilities and cleanliness. We wish we stayed more than one night!!
