Guests may enjoy their breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Porterhouse Grill, which features a menu particularly focusing on British steak, cooked over locally sourced charcoal, in a Bertha oven. The property's bar offers a range of hand-pulled ales, wines and cocktails.

The interior design of the rooms is so cute! Also - they even have an adapter and wifi is really good. I stayed there several times, always lovely.

The restaurant is good, I had breakfast and dinner and both were very good. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Barman was very knowledgeable about cocktails and the spirits he was serving. Location is excellent, in the heart of Oxford and close to many of the sights.

Stunning property with amazing grounds to wander round. Dinner at Napiers was exceptional, well worth the price. Breakfast was full of choices. Lovely room, and spa facilities were great. They also left a small gift as this was a birthday visit - excellent service.

There is a parking in front of the hotel, but you need to pre book it. Part of the hotel is a prison that has been renovated and you can even find an old cell. Restaurant is good. They do some special offers on stakes and we get 2 cocktails for free, so that was one of the cheapest dinner for this trip. Rooms are big and nice. Bed was a king size and sleeping was amazing.

A beautiful country Inn with oodles of charm, picturesque historic surroundings, and friendly staff and patrons. The room was small but comfortable and well equipped. A great, spacious bathroom. Owner was extremely helpful when the TV developed a fault. The food in the bar restaurant was outstanding. We had a roast the first night and Thai the second. Both superb. While the Inn is not open for breakfast the room is supplied with fruit and snack bars. We would have loved to have stayed longer. Great historic church nearby.

The room configuration that was promised on Booking.com wasn’t available but the hotel staff promptly remedied it with another solution. Beautifully handled. Also the staff recommended a wonderful Pub for dinner that involved a stunning walk through the village and across the lock. Excellent local suggestion that made our stay.

Adored this place! This was my second time staying here, but this time, I decided to stay a week instead of two days, and it was even better than my first stay. The great location, cute historic building, and absolutely lovely, kind, and attentive staff all contributed to a wonderful experience. It was also very cosy, which was great since I came in January. I also loved the pub right next door, Turf Tavern, which was a great place to grab dinner or a drink at the end of the day. All in all a great place. I will definitely be back!
