Sparking clean, well appointed B&B. Comfortable bed and good bathroom. Excellent breakfast included. The 2 sisters who run it are super nice and attentive. They treat guests as family. Ideal for solo travelers or for friends who are traveling together but want the privacy of one’s own room. it is 15-20 min walk for the center of the city. Easier to park than at the equivalent lodgings in the middle of the action.

Bernardo and his sister Annabella welcomed us like if we were family! They took time to show us the town and helped to find out a restaurant opened on Chistmas Eve. The breakfast was reinvented every morning to let us try all the traditional food. All in all, it felt like meeting good old friends! If you're looking to make the best of Ouro Preto, you have to stay there!

The pousada is located inside the historic city of Ouro Preto. For a parking spot you have to look out nearby, but despite there was an event in the city the same day, it didn’t take too much time to find one. The family-owned house and the rooms are furnished very comfortable matching the historic city of Ouro Preto. Sometimes we felt on a time-travel but definitely a nice one… Restaurants and tourist attractions are in walking distance. The breakfast was outstanding, probably the best we ever had on our trips.

This was our favourite place we stayed in Minas Gerais, and it is because of the brilliant owners and their team. Simply the friendliest and most helpful place we have been in Brazil, with tips on where to go and what to see, an amazing breakfast, beautifully presented, with an option to be served in a stand alone conservatory area or in your room, and an ideal location just outside of Ouro Preto but easy to get into town when you want to. Our children were so looked after and happy, could not ask for more. We'll be back!
