A thorough walk through of everything upon check in and made us feel like a home away from home. It’s a short walk to everything and the beach and the facilities were awesome like free water, the rooftop chill out area, the laundry, kitchens and bathroom were daily cleaned. Thanks so much for the hospitality!!

Loved everything, the pancakes in the morning, the staff and the place, but my favourite was the free activities, made my trip 100% better because I was saving money and I made amazing friends that didn’t expect to find in my trip, made my activities so much fun.

The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. The vibe you find at Open Gate Hostel is hard to explain and find somewhere else. Staying here was one of the best decisions I have made throughout my two weeks in Hawaii. Staff is truly super (helpful, friendly, welcoming, helpful) and the people you meet there are just amazing. My private room was large, comfortable, and clean. Bathrooms and kitchen were very clean, too. Location is incredible.
