The motel is definitely a motel not hotel. It was clean and comfortable and the location is okay as far as proximity to other things. The area where it’s located seems a little sketchy. I think if the room had not been so expensive I probably would feel better about our stay!

Hotel has free car parking which was a bonus - the hotel is situated on a quiet street where it is 10 mins walk to the nearest shoppping area
Check in was brilliant. I had arrived early as husband had to go work and I was going to sit at reception and wait for check in time which was about 2 to 3 hours later. But she found me a room that was ready and allowed me in straightaway! Thank you so much!
This was a stopover so I only stayed one night but wished I could have stayed longer.
I felt quite safe walking to the shopping area to buy food and see what is around me
Bathroom was clean and everything I needed was provided
Room was spacious and contained a microwave and a fridge plus a coffee maker
I could even catch up on Netflix on the TV!

Biked from Vallejo to Yountville to Napa. It's always so much fun and beautiful. The deep jacuzzi tub at Napa Valley Hotel was icing on the cake. The bed swallowed me up and was so comfortable. Ad Hoc is my favorite Thomas Keller restaurant. Get their cookbook. I can actually cook these recipes.

The Napa Valley is just beautiful place to be.
The Napa Valley is just beautiful place to be. It is best to visit during the week as the traffic can be very bad during the weekend. Also, avoid Napa during the harvest. To get around the valley use the Silverado Trail Road and not the main road. If you want to visit wineries, be sure to have reservations. We ate at Mustards Grill. As always, the food was excellent, but you must have reservations as the Grill is very popular. It is very noisy. Best time to have lunch is after 1:30.

We have been wine tasting to Napa for more than 20 years.
We have been wine tasting to Napa for more than 20 years. This trip was a disappointment because you now have to reserve in advance for wine tasting at a winery and they charge enormous price per person, the cheapest was $40 and it went to $85 per person. We understand that all the tastings are now seated since the after-pandemic and this has some plus and minuses. First it is too expensive to go wine tasting in Napa and second it takes a lot more time for a tasting than if you'd stand up at the bar. We might never go back to Napa. It is so sad but the scenery is as beautiful as it has always been.

It's always great to be back in Napa our favorite restaurants morimoto's outdid themselves this time our favorite taco truck in Calistoga was worth the wait if it wasn't for covid we would have been back sooner.
This is a newer property in Napa. People pay a lot for some idea of a fancy hotel in the wine country. The truth is that those properties are getting old. So you either book a crazily priced spa hotel kind of stay or book Cambria. You will be out most day enjoying the wineries and restaurants anyway. This property is clean, modern and very comfy. Walking distance to Napa downtown and Oxbow Public Market. There is an outdoor space to enjoy as well at the property. Recommend!!!
I stay here often to attend medical appointments in Napa. It is a safe and beautiful property for myself and my daughter. Any special requests are always honored. The breakfast is very good and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely set up with a sofa and desk area separate from the bed. Perfect if I have to do Zoom calls for work. I hope the pool and spa will be up and running soon. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Napa.
We loved our stay at the Archer. It was the perfect launch pad for our first visit to Napa Valley. The hotel is clean, modern and very pretty. Lots of common spaces to enjoy outside the room. The room offered everything we needed given we were out much of the day. The hotel is really centrally located, just a short walk from all the restaurants with tasting rooms and boutiques surrounding the property. The breakfast we ordered one day was excellent.
Great location. Easy to find and park when driving into Napa. Five minute walk to First Street where you can find tasting rooms and restaurants. We really enjoyed Scala (Italian) and Tarla (Mediterranean).
Friendly staff with great recommendations for local wine tasting and sight-seeing.
Delicious breakfast - tea, coffee, juice, fruit salad with oat parfait, then a hot meal based around eggs.
Got a one bedroom cottage last minute as friend and I were driving around northern CA exploring towns on a spontaneous getaway. Good front desk staff at check in. Got 2 nights. Enjoyed the pool chairs and pool. A kid puked in the pool so that was that, hah. Did not eat there but was central to restaurants in Yountville and Napa. Good view of golf course from balcony of cottage.
We had the most wonderful stay - gorgeous unique house, comfortable rooms and a great home cooked breakfast every morning sat with other guests who we enjoyed getting to know. We felt so at home here and would definitely recommend! The hostess is clearly very hard working and devoted to the details and it shows. Easily one of the best B&Bs we’ve ever stayed at.
This hotel was the best value of our weeklong road trip. For just $100 plus taxes, we got a beautiful clean room with two sinks, a sitting area, and comfortable bed. The outdoor hot tub was clean and hot. The free breakfast was fine (cereal, fruit, and toast). Great proximity to Monticello and Honig wineries (we took an uber both ways).
Nice Welcome drink when you check in at the hotel plus free bottle of water during you stay… Nice Restaurant in the area with bunch of wine list choices. The hotel located in the central area by walk or bike to the downtown Napa. Lots of parking spot available. Quiet and nice atmosphere otherwise Clean and Fresh.
Napa River Inn is in a fabulous location!! In the heart of downtown Napa and on the river! Everything was nearby. The breakfast vouchers to Sweetie Pies was also an unexpected treat! They have the best pastries and their French Toast was to die for!
This was by far the best place I have ever stayed at!! Kirsten was so kind and funny! The grounds were beautiful and so close to downtown! The room felt so comfortable like you are at home and have the comfiest beds! I cannot wait to go back!
One of the best hotels I have stayed at on my entire 6 week US trip. So well laid out and appointed and has many gorgeous areas to sit around inside or outside. Very friendly and helpful staff as well.
Good-sized room with comfy beds. Pool and hot tub were very nice. Free coffee; friendly hotel staff. Excellent location - 10 min drive to downtown Napa. Really great room for the price!
Everything. This place was fantastic. We will be staying here during our future visits to Napa. Cottages were amazing, location was great, everything was first class.
