Placed only a short distance from Oakland International Airport and close to area attractions, this hotel offers completely non-smoking guestrooms and many free amenities. I had the best two nights' sleep that I've ever had in a hotel. I'm sensitive to noise yet for some reason I always expect to sleep well in a hotel, then I remember when I get there that it's never possible because of other guests always making noise in their rooms, creaky floors, doors slamming or noisy conversations in the hallways. I chose this hotel as it's near the airport ($15 Lyft ride away) and although you'd expect noise from planes, I didn't (not that I'd mind that). The staff were pleasant and the place was clean. My room was apparently surrounded by pilots who "go out like a light". If you stay there, be mindful that if you keep your neighbours awake, they may be flying the plane you're on the next day.

The room was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was as well. Having a pool, bar, and a grill was also a nice touch (even if the pool is on the ground floor). Great airport shuttle and exceptional breakfast.

This Oakland hotel is located 1.6 km from Oakland International Airport. We offer transportation service to the airport and from the Airport via Uber service with a flight itinerary only. I like the staff esp that one person that was there when I checked in (sorry I forgot his name). He was very accommodating and informative. Before I booked, I called first to make sure they have all the amenities I needed for my stay. He was actually one of the reasons why I was convinced to book in the hotel because he was very informative. During the conversation, I felt like he was genuinely interested about my concerns and gave me honest answers. As a travel nurse that did not have any idea about the Oakland area, he was very helpful in giving directions to possible lodging options that is within decent commute to my hospital of assignment. He was also very patient and wasn’t at all pushy. Also, when he was informed that there was a plumbing problem in the toilet of the room I was initially given, he was quick to respond and resolved the issue to my satisfaction. Another thing is that there were multiple times that I had to access the closed cafeteria because I needed to refill my water bottle and also get some hot chocolate at night; they were okay with it. They were very accommodating of those things. To the boss of that worker in the reception, you have to give him a raise. Also you’ve got great staff so take care of them.
