The location was beautiful in the quiet countryside, minutes from the main road. The shower was great, the beds were comfy, and the whole place was nice and warm. We even got a treat left from the host, who was a lovely woman; fresh milk from the farm and baked scones. We will definitely stay here again.

Dr. The house was clean, cozy and well located for our work at the festival in Lough Key Forest Park. There's a large Centra a few minutes away and a petrol station round the corner. Elizabeth left us milk, scones, jam, bread, tea and biscuits as she suspected correctly we wouldn't have a chance to get to the shop due to our late arrival - a lovely and thoughtful gesture.The kitchen is great and entirely suitable for cooking your own meals and the house has three bathrooms Communications between us before arrival were clear and fast, and the easy to use lock box made getting the key an effortless process. A lovely house and a thoughtful hostess. What more could you ask for?

Lovely peaceful location, beautiful home, comfortable beds, great shower. Hosts were exceptional - responded to all queries quickly. They provided milk, coffee, cereal etc and fire kindling - most unexpected but we were absolutely delighted! It's near lots of beautiful beaches, Yeats country and Donegal Town.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at the Sligo forest retreat. It was beautifully remote and so quiet/peaceful, just what we needed. Our dog had the best time exploring and we especially enjoyed our morning coffee with the hosts lovely dog - Winnie! The location is perfect, it has a stunning lake nearby for swimming. During our stay we visited Galway, Westport, Sligo town, Strandhill, Donegal, Leitrim all within 1.5 hours drive and it was wonderful to have a quiet place to come back to after a busy day. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, friendly and full of helpful recommendations. We hope to return!
