The downstairs apartment is clean and feels fresh, the beds were super comfortable (in fact I peeked at the brand so I would know for future mattress purchases) and the whole place is adorably decorated. They are still working on getting the kitchen set up, so if you are coming in the near future, bring meals and foods you can warm up in the microwave, bagels for the toaster, and don’t forget the ice cream which you can have while enjoying the gorgeous view outside your door. Catherine and Jeff were wonderful to work with and very responsive. All around, a wonderful home base for those planning on exploring the beauty of Vancouver Island.

The property was attractive, well appointed and comfortable. We loved that we could bring our dog. We loved the artistic decor and comfortable patio. We loved the expresso maker, well stocked frig and the availability of fans.

Brand new cottage - beautifully designed & tastefully decorated. Charming "Brass" & "Apple" theme throughout, befitting its name! Located in a quiet & safe residential neighborhood, and yet, just steps away to a park, restaurants, & market. Cottage was sparkling clean with comfy beds, powerful shower & plush towels. Well stocked kitchen & washer/dryer were super helpful for longer stays. Really appreciated modern conveniences (electronic blinds, night lights in bath) & thoughtful small touches (drinks in fridge, cotton pads/swabs in bath, etc). Most importantly, awesome hosts - friendly, accommodating, and proactive. Highly recommend the cottage and will definitely stay again when we return to the area.

It’s very spacious, clean, and comfortable. It’s easy to cook there, and has a fantastic range of equipment, including an air fryer and gas hob. It’s a great place to socialise. The beds are comfy, and it’s very quiet. The garden is just so special- it backs onto woodland and there is an abundance of birds , and even rabbits. There is a woodland trail out the back which is worth walking, the views are spectacular. We absolutely loved staying here, and highly recommend it. It’s only about 20 mins to drive into Victoria. The host, Hassi, lives in the suite, so he is accessible if needed, and is very friendly and helpful.
