The receptionist at the hostel was super friendly and professional. She gave us a warm welcome and many good recommendations of places to visit, restaurants, and public transportation. The hostel is in a great position, close to the train station and the public transportation. The room was like in the picture, spotless and comfortable.

Ambience Hotel Taipei is located in the Zhongshan District, a 20-minute walk from Taipei Main Station. It offers stylish accommodation with a restaurant, free parking and free Wi-Fi access. Great location, superfriendly personel, complimentary minibar. Even tough it is only rated 3* in my opinion it is waaay better than many 4&5* ones. I traveled with my bike and the staff was super helpful with helping me. I wish other hotels had the same level of service.

I loved the location, it was so central and really convenient to go to areas of interest either by train or just walking. It was very near the MRT station as well when you exit. The rooms looked exactly as the photo. It was clean, the bathroom was excellent - water pressure was great. The staff were very nice, they helped us arrange an airport transfer for an early flight and it was very reasonably priced. They offer free tea and coffee. Lots of eating places nearby. They had a working television and an airconditioner that could also be a heater.

Offering free WiFi, Jolley Hotel is located 5-minute-drive away from Ningxia Night Market. The hotel has easy access to Zhongshan Elementary School MRT Station. We stayed 3 nights in Standard Triple Studio. The room had separate bedroom connected by a small living room with kitchen and working table, it was very spacious and efficient. The hotel's breakfast was also pretty nice with fresh fruit and vegetable juices juiced on the spot. The hotel staffs were attentive and prompt, able to coordinate everything for our various needs, and most surprisingly they have provided us a surprise gift to celebrate my mum's birthday which coincided with our period of stay. <3 We loved everything about Jolley Hotel and would recommend anyone to stay here for their visit in Taipei. :)
