The futon was thick and I had good sleep. The owners were very friendly and they even gave us Japanese alcohol (their dogs were adorable as well). The onsen was clean and very relaxing.

Everything was just perfect, ReLabo cured me after everyday ski trip. Every staff was super friendly, the breakfast was the best I had ever had in Japan, the spa was amazing, the dinner exceeded my expectation, the room was clean and comfortable. I will definitely visit Aomori only for ReLabo for sure.

Dormy Inn Aomori Natural Hot Spring se nachází v destinaci Aomori a poskytuje ubytování s wellness centrem, soukromým parkovištěm a masérskými službami. Everything: the hotel, the onsen, the facilities, the staff. The onsen was great (inside and outside, the tubs, the sauna, the facilities). Everything was very clean. I also enjoyed the tasty apple juice. I would have liked to stay more there.

Tabinoyado Saikawa se nachází v destinaci Kuroishi a nabízí ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm. Jezero Towada je 33 km daleko. This is a traditional Japanese ryokan with public baths (gender separated). Dinner and breakfast are amazing and plentiful, with locally sourced organic produce (even coffee!). Our room (Japanese room with private toilet) was to the left of the entrance. It was very spacious. The heater worked very well as autumn night was a bit damp and cold. The beds are futons on wood bed frames on tatami, and they are super comfortable. As I have a whole-leg tattoo which is usually not permitted in the public baths, I notified Ranko in advance, and she reserved the private bath for us. The private bath was a very beautiful blue ceramic bath filled with warm (I don’t think it’s very hot) healing hot spring water from the area. Ranko’s warm personality really made the stay memorable. Be sure to ask her for recommendations of the areas. She is a well of knowledge of the area!

Takasagoya Ryokan se nachází v destinaci Zao Onsen v regionu Yamagata. Jen 200 metrů odtud je Lyžařský rezort Zao Hotsprings. A friend and I stayed there during one week-end. It was a very good experience. The room is quite large and very clean. The highlight of this stay was for sure the dinner. The food was delicious, made with high quality products and with a large selection of different dishes. The owners were very nice with us. If you want to have an experience in a traditionnal family owned ryokan, I highly recommend to stay there :) It is exactly the kind of place that I hope will still exist in some years!

Okawaso se nachází v Aizuwakamatsu, 13 km od Aizu Higashiyama Onsen, a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi a restauraci. Všechny pokoje v tomto ryokanu jsou klimatizované a vybavené TV. Simpy WOW! It is really an amazing place. We stayed there for one night just to get the experience in staying in a ryokan with onsen. We like anime so we chose this one as it has some features of Demon Slayer anime :) Room was amazing, sleeping on futons was really comfortable. Room was spacious. We were wearing yukatas during our stay and it was just amazing! Onsen was wonderful! And the dinner - OMG - super tasty! we felt really welcomed there and taken care of. One staff member who spoke English very well was explaining us what we were eating, how to cook different parts of the meal etc. It was so lovely. We really appreciate that! If we ever come to Japan again we will go there for sure.

Petit Resort Hotel Der Barte se nachází v destinaci Zao Onsen v regionu Yamagata a nabízí přístup na lyžích až k ubytování. Lyžařský rezort Zao Hotsprings je 600 metrů daleko. It’s easy to go skiing or snowboarding. The lift is just next to the hotel. The hotel owner is kind and funny. I have a great experience here.

Tagoto se nachází 5 minut jízdy od nádraží Aizu Wakamatsu a nabízí teplé veřejné lázně, pokoje v japonském a západním stylu a japonskou kuchyni. - Very charming ryokan conveniently situated within walking distance from the JR Nanokamachi station and in close proximity to attractions like the Noguchi Hideyo Seishun Street and the Suehiro Sake Brewery. - The meals (dinner and breakfast) were the highlight of my stay. Having told the staff in advance that I had food allergies, they went above and beyond to servemeals for me that were safe for me to eat but also very delicious. The variety of dishes served was impressive. The staff also offered to create onigiri (rice balls) out of my unfinished breakfast. - The staff were very warm and accommodating and their interactions with guests contributed to the ryokan's very homely atmosphere. As a thoughtful gesture they gave me an akabeko keychain upon checkout as a souvenir - The private hinoki bath was a delight (note: you have to book it in advance during check-in) - The futon in my room was exceptionally fluffy and I slept really well

The staff at Pension Puutaro were incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Highly recommend for their exceptional hospitality!
