Homely rooms with mountain views, free Wi-Fi and a private bath await guests at Villa Revage, 350 metres from Nikko Botanical Garden. I love the vibe of this place. It’s very friendly. The owner clearly likes people and he is very helpful. Everything is well planned and explained. You can get hot and cold water, or buy some food from the freezer and cook it using available microwaves. There is selection of cold drinks you can buy as well. You can get a yukata and some travel items for free (ear plugs, razors etc). Room was clean and comfortable. Very nice coffee and fresh bread in the morning. I used private bath and it was a very nice experience. If you are traveling with child you will feel comfortable here as well. I would highly recommend this place to other travelers.

It was the best sleep in 5 weeks in Japan, the outdoors private thermal bath was excellent, the food was beautiful, they accomadated me being vegetarian. The onsens were great, outdoor ones being hotter than indoors. The national park it's in is beautiful. The staff are amazing, just delightful.

Located in Nikko, 2.1 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine, Sanga Nikko provides rooms with free WiFi access. The property is set 10 km from Kegon Falls and 22 km from Nikkō-kokuritsu-kōen. The location is very convenient, the accommodation is in walking distance from both railway stations and the bus terminal. Restaurants, convenience stores, and shops are also very close by. Yoshi-san and Rie-san are fantastic hosts, who go to great lengths to make your stay as comfortable as possible and keep the guest house impeccably clean. Yoshi-san was so kind and shared restaurant recommendations, information regarding attractions and even took us guests on a great hike to a waterfall. The room was very clean and warm even during winter, and the beds very comfortable. The shared facilities are also exceptionally clean, and amenities are provided. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped with anything you need, and the communal area is stocked with free drinks and snacks. Indeed, spending my evenings there and hanging out with other guests and Yoshi-san were the favourite parts of my stay. He's an excellent conversation partner and a very curious person, the hours flew by in an instant. At the end of my stay, he even took a few fantastic portrait photos for me to take home. Just a 15-minute walk from the Nikko Toshogu Shrine, Nikko Hoshino Yado features natural hot-spring baths with Japanese garden views, traditional kaiseki (multi-course) cuisine and Japanese-style... EVERYTHING! I absolutely loved the place. The room was so nice, packed with great small treatments, the view from the room was breathtaking. You can go to the public onsen as much as you like, and I even rented the private onsen, and it was just what I needed. The private onsen was so good, needless to say it was tidy clean, the atmosphere was amazing, I absolutely loved it!

The facility was very nice and seemed to be recently renovated. The location is very convenient - close to a bus stop and to Heiki no Sato. The room was spacious, clean and bright - very comfortable. We enjoyed the private bath. Although it was described as indoor, we were delighted to find that it had full-length windows looking out onto nature so it felt out door to us! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. :)

Hotel je na břehu jezera Chuzenji, s přímým výhledem ze všech pokojů. Hned po příjezdu nás uvítal personál, který byl milý a laskavý po celou dobu našeho pobytu. Veškerý personál mluví anglicky. Náš pokoj byl velký, čistý, v hotelu je velice příjemný onsen. Večeře i snídaně byly velice dobré. Určitě tento hotel mohu vřele doporučit.
