Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. The Ryokan is very close to the Itsukushima Shrine and the Momijidani Ropeway. So its very convenient to visit the Shrine at 6.30, return for breakfast and then head to the ropeway which begins service by 9.00. The staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, especially the vegetarian meal. It is a short walk away from the ferry terminal, but the Ryokan offers a shuttle service for pick-up and drop.

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. We thought this Ryokan was perfectly located in Miyajima- easy to walk from the ferry but yet a bit up the hill and removed from the crowds. The ryokan had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our room , due to what was available at time of booking, was not traditional Japanese but we found it quite comfortable and of good size. It had the option of turning on jazz background music which we liked! We really enjoyed our Ryokan meals in Japan and Kikunoya did not disappoint. We had wonderful meals with friendly service. Meals here seemed to perhaps give a bit of a nod to western tastes and coffee was available in the morning! They also had a nice onsen with outdoor area ( no view) which again is an important part of the overall experience. We recommend this hotel .

The location is very convenient— just across the port. The amenities are great. The onsen is amazing. The staff are very nice and thoughtful. The lounge/guest area is great to hang around with free drinks and snacks. I love this hotel and would love to go back! Thank you so much for taking care of us.

Renewed in 2013, Sakuraya offers affordable Japanese-style rooms with mountain or sea views. Free Wi-Fi is available at the public areas. Miyajima Ferry Terminal is a 3-minute walk away. Very friendly staff, nice location, loved the tatami and the bed. Bath was a nice little addition to comfort.

Just a 5-minute walk from Miyajima Guchi Station, Miyajima Coral Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms and self-service laundry facilities. Location is right next to the ferry for Miyajima which was good for us as we wanted to travel to and fro from Miyajima. We had the sea facing room which gave us a great view of the sunrise

Grandvrio Hotel Miyajima Wakura - ROUTE INN HOTELS - poskytuje pokoje v destinaci Mijadžima. Jen 20 km odtud se nachází Youme Town Miyuki a Hiroshima Minato Park je 20 km daleko. Most visitors would probably spend the day on the marvelous Itsukushima island, but there is no accommodation close to the station/ferry boat in Miyajima. This hotel is one of the closest to the boats which is an essential asset. Walking to the ferry boat is possible, it takes roughly 15 min, but the sidewalk is very narrow and the traffic intense... The hotel has an excellent solution : a shuttle van! Attention: the name on the van says "Route Inn", not Grandviro. Cherry on the cake: if you wait for this van at the hotel, just take place in their nice waiting corner facing the bay, with free beverages. Bravo! Very clean room. The bed is perfect as is the bathroom/shower/bathtub. Perfect lift too. There is a 7-Eleven on the other side of the street at the traffic lights and a good udon noodles restaurant a 10 min stroll away heading to the station.

Hotel Miyajima Morinoyado byl po rekonstrukci znovu otevřen v dubnu 2014 a nabízí pohodlné pokoje a prostorné veřejné lázně. Za 1 minutu dojdete k akváriu Miyajima a za 15 minut ke svatyni... The classic Ryokan vibe was super cool. The traditional meals were excellent and the service was great. The location was perfect, peaceful even during the day. Amazingly quiet and beautiful in the evening. There's a shuttle to/from the ferry terminal but it's just a 20 minute easy beautiful walk if necessary.
