It’s cozy and right in front of the beach. They have a restaurant with drinks and a decent menu with some specials, which luckily for us was lobster when we arrived. Big, fat, fresh lobster. Staff is kind and the rooms are super comfortable and well designed.

A paradise, if you are seeking peace and quiet and are prepared the care you will receive by a well trained staff, with little knowledge of any language other then bahasa indonesia. But that is the charm of the place. A newly appointed general manager Mia, fluent english attentive, warm reception and full of information. The cuisine offering interesting local fare rather well prepared. Highly recommended as a destination along the coast.

They greeted us with juice and farewelled us with bracelets. They were helpful with any questions, and provided us with a scooter, snorkel and yoga mat upon request. The staff were incredibly attentive and kind - they went above and beyond. The location is fantastic, right on the beach and great swimming at high tide. Snorkelling was only 50m out from the shore and there is a cool waterfall was about 45 minutes (by scooter) down the road. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant was well priced and we had a decent breakfast. There was always complimentary bottled water! Overall, we had a lovely, relaxing stay at Cemara.

Really nice place with cute bungalows and two pools right next to an amazing beach. It's a great location with lots to explore in the area. Wifi worked well, staff was very friendly and helpful and good food at the restaurant.

This is a great spot to start your journey in Sumba. Next to the ocean this place belongs to a community and is real, it is run by locals who will assist you with all your needs. The rooms are simple, but very clean and unbeatable for the price, even with AC. The ladies working there were so sweet and nice, they organized a pick-up from the airport, a scooter to rent, and I could even store my luggage with them while I was away for a few days. The breakfast was rich and also yummy dinner options available. I felt very good.
