We ordered room with big panoramic window. You can lay in the room in front of the window and dream! Staff are so acomodating and friendly! Facilities are comfortable. Bed, pillows were so fantastic. Breakfast has no wide choice but it the same in all Equador. But food very delicious. Espessialy for dinner!

Super kind and very helpful. The hotel is in a great location. I stayed in one of the suites and the suites are beautiful, large and have all the amenities you could ask for. Favorite place i have stayed in Ecuador. I will return.

It's on the edge of the town, a bit uphill from the city centre but it's just 10 minutes walk, the view is amazing and at the same time it's calm and quite (we hear only birds singing in the morning). The women managing the hostel does a great work. Not only rooms are clean but also shared bathrooms and kitchen. Breakfast was always on time and it was tasty. Additionally she's helpful and her choice of music matches perfectly an atmosphere of the place.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Nalanda Casa de Montaña. The deluxe rooms were super luxurious, offering breathtaking views, especially from the jacuzzi overlooking the volcano. The beds were massive with heavenly mattresses, making our nights incredibly comfortable. The service was outstanding, truly next level. The cook went above and beyond, preparing delicious vegan meals for us every day—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—for five days. Every meal was different and equally delicious. We also loved the daily yoga classes, which made our stay even more special. Nalanda Casa de Montaña exceeded our expectations in every way, and we can’t wait to come back! There’s also some beautiful hikes to waterfalls on the property. Baños is pretty close, around 40 minutes.

Really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful suite in Banos. The huge windows in the bedroom have a phenomenal view of both the mountains and the waterfall. The former changed almost by the minute as the clouds came and went. We never tired of enjoying that view. Beds were very comfortable and shower was excellent with hot water. The cow patterned blanket made me very happy. No a/c but that wasn't an issue - we just cracked the window a little. The whole place was immaculately clean and tidy. The mother and sons who run the place are consumate hosts and catered to our every whim. They also tolerated my poor Spanish and were very sweet and helpful. They let us store our bags securely on the last day as we had a later bus. Breakfast was juice, some fruit, scrambled eggs with ham and bread, jam and butter. Coffee was instant. Perhaps a little variety would be nice. The rooms are above and behind the restaurant area so it's possible that there may be some noise but we didn't have any issues on our stay. The location is excellent, just a few blocks from the main streets so close enough without the noise and hubbub. Some excellent restaurants nearby.

The staff were so helpful and very pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is set in beautiful gardens overlooking mountains with rabbits, ducks and chickens running freely. We also had complimentary use of the Turkish bath and sauna. The hotel is on the outskirts of town, about 15 minutes walk to the centre. The room was spotlessly clean and quiet with excellent security. We even extended our stay!!
