A new and exceptionally clean hotel with comfortable rooms and a friendly, helpful staff. Our room was ready upon arrival—even with kids—and had a beautiful mountain view. Breakfast was varied with plenty of options to choose from. We appreciated the free parking and complimentary spa access included with our booking. The location is convenient, close to the train station and restaurants. An outstanding experience overall.

Right on the shores of Lake Lugano and within walking distance of the Old Town of Lugano, the 5-star Grand Hotel Villa Castagnola is set within a private, subtropical park. Everything is amazing. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. The locaion is prfect by the lake. You can use the bus in front of the hotel to go wherever you want in Lugano using hotel free tickets. You can also use it for trains inside swizerland. The suites and superior rooms overlook the lake while garden rooms overlook the hotel beautiful garden. You can walk to the center in 15 to 20 minutes or use the bus#2 instead. It also goes to the train station. I totally recommend this classic hotel.

Every things they really take care of every little details. Staff were wonderful all of them no exceptions. Location the panoramic few you wouldn’t find it any where else. The panoramic suite was amazing . One of the best hotel I have visited in my life
