The resort is beautifully designed with lovely quiet green spaces. The view from the balcony was serene and we loved looking at the lake. The little plunge pools felt luxurious. It was an easy walk to a very interesting 11th Century temple which we enjoyed exploring. The food was great too.

Nice location a walk from everywhere. Close to bars and restaurants and decent WiFi and air con. Well worth the price, and the owner was super friendly and helped us set up a taxi for onward journey.

The location of the hotel is amazing! You take a boat with a beautiful view and come to the hotel. The way they are greeting you upon arrival is unforgettable! The rooms are so spacious and luxurious! There is a very beautiful swimming pool with a gorgeous view on the lake! I had an opportunity to do a massage in the hotel and it was one of the best deep oil massages in my life! I would recommend to go to Kimkimi for a strong good quality massage! It is very comfortable that each guest has his own butler who is available all the time. I was lucky to have such a wonderful smiling, professional butler Foustinus! She assisted with all my requests! I would definitely recommend everyone coming to this hotel when visiting Udaipur! And I was lucky as well to have a local professional guide Mitesh who showed me the city from insight, told me so many stories of how locals live, showed me a ceramic market and how locals do pottery! We stayed at Madri Haveli in mid-December 2024 and were delighted by the experience. Despite arriving with misplaced luggage, the incredibly kind staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable, even providing spare blankets until our belongings arrived. The rooms were spacious, the bathroom was impressively large, and the hot water was a welcome luxury during the chilly Rajasthan winter.
