FranceThe property is located in a very calm small street. You can walk from there to the city center and the way is calm and very beautiful.
The house is green, very well maintained. The room was upstairs with a private staircase which ables you to go to restaurant at night and come back without making noise.
We booked Family Room. One room with two single beds and one room with the bathroom and large double bed. Beds were very comfortable, fans were available. The bathroom is very convenient.
It was clean and nicely set up, we slept like babies.
The lady was so nice, the home made breakfast was delicious, dosa and coconut chutney, small bananas, egg 😍.
Very friendly, smiling and gentle. I strongly recommend this place.

IndiaOur cottage was nestled amidst the spice plantation and the cottages were beautifully designed in a mix of traditional and contemporary style. The rooms were really spacious and the outdoor shower was the highlight of the room! The staff was very warm and polite and they went out of their way to help us. The food was freshly prepared and tasty. We had a memorable stay and would definitely love to visit again if we get a chance.

The recommendations of the home owner were fantastic and useful. He even helped us to book walks in the reserve before arriving in Periyar. We really appreciated our stay.

There is a bed in the lounge area. And a double bed in the bedroom. Hotel is quite close to the Periyar shuttle bus stop. An auto rickshaw which can easily accommodate 3 pax charged ₹50/- to drop us there. Food at the Cinnamon Restaurant in the hotel was very good. We tried the local fish curry which was delicious! The setting was magical with spices growing all around and the sound of birds singing unique songs. The staff were very welcoming and helpful - they even booked our morning trek in Periyar Tiger Reserve for us. The spa was incredible as well - very relaxing massages! We also loved the food and I even had a cooking demonstration from the head chef. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the tea plantations and do a safari. Good Ayurvedic massage at their spa.
