Great location. Everything felt well maintained and clean. Very friendly desk staff.
Great breakfast in the morning that will save you $20+/person vs eating out every morning.

Key West is a gem of an island in the Florida Keys, popular with pleasure seekers and history buffs alike. As the most southern destination in the continental United States, Key West has a fascinating history, dating back to its settlement by Spanish explorers in the 16th century.
Today, this little island off the coast of Florida attracts over a million cruise visitors a year through the Port of Key West. Visitors come to see Hemingway House, where Ernest Hemingway penned "A Farewell to Arms." Key West Cemetery provides a unique walk through the multicultural past of the city. There are also trolley rides through the historic district of Jackson Square.
There’s more than just history to Key West, however. Smathers Beach is a place to have fun in the sun, while Mallory Square provides the chance to shop and watch a magnificent sunset. The excellent bus system helps you get around the island without a car.
Key West International Airport is a mere 4 miles from Duval Street, the heart of downtown and a good place to stay for easily exploring the nearby sights. With accommodations ranging from resorts to B&Bs, Booking.com helps you get the best stay for the best price in Key West!

You'll never be disappointed in key west for the night life, sunsets, and shops. It's a historical city, so don't expect any modern or touristy things like amusement and water parks - just a great experience at the southermost point of the continental US.

Duval street has your abundance of souvenir shops, along with some nice boutiques and art galleries (which I recommend going into all the art shops). Blue Heaven restaurant is a must for breakfast, specifically the lobster eggs Benedict. For dinner with a bit more ambiance try Martins and Cafe Marquesa the food was fabulous. The butterfly conservatory, the lighthouse and Hemingway house were all great and would recommend. We also did a sunset cruise with Sunset Waterspouts and it was soo much fun.

Cruise Ship Terminal had ended the previous unique remote island lifestyle. Gift Shops with T-Shirts, Crowded Sidewalks of Tourists too Bored to Stay on Ship and Lacking Businesses to Contain their Flip-Flop Sea-Sickness Mind Hive. Cheap Buzz. Locals of former fame are now long gone. I came, I saw, and on no occasion do I desire a repeat. We loved the sunset at Mallory Square, Hemingway House, Aqua Drag show, entertainment at Lateda and so much more. Stay in a central location (we were on Olivia Street) and you can walk everywhere. Dress casually and stay cool because it is very hot and humid, but gorgeous.

Key West is gorgeous and rich with history.
Key West is gorgeous and rich with history. I would call it less of a conventional beach town, as the beaches are sparse and man made because of the whole island thing. If you love the water then this is the place. Boats, jet skis, snorkeling and more are all available for you to enjoy and Duval Street is full of shopping, restaurants and bars. There are some very unique vendors with one of a kind items and lots of art appreciation from the locals. The beach stores are a little over priced on some of their beach wares, which is typical, but there is no shortage of cute and original boutiques. Rent a scooter or a golf cart when you get there. It is the best way to travel while you are there.
Room was very spacious and well-equipped. Microwave, mini fridge, desk, large closet and large bathroom. Resort fee included was well worth it for the shuttle downtown which left every hour from the hotel. Much cheaper than getting uber. We didn't redeem our drink tickets due to not having time but should have to get the full value. Free breakfast was nothing spectacular but better than average continental breakfast because it included some hot food. Overall a nicer hotel and better presentation than I expected.
I visited the Florida Keys many other times, but this was my first time staying in Old Town Key West on Duval. The room was exceptional! Staff was friendly helpful and very accommodating. Pool and garden was relaxing and enjoyable. I would hands down stay here again. The location was perfect, I walked everywhere and traveling solo felt safe even at night. I really enjoyed staying in the heart of the Old Town Key West and this hotel was awesome. The room was spacious and luxurious. very clean and comfortable.
First trip to Key West so we booked a hotel central for a three-night stay. Location was very good (two blocks from Duval Street) but the size of the room was very bad. I understand these things are always a trade-off but $650 for a three-night stay for essentially one room (containing a bed, with practically no room for anything else) was excessive. The breakfast was acceptable and the honour bar was a good touch. But the room was incredibly cramped and we wouldn't stay there again for that reason.
They have a nice small breakfast available to you every morning, but you aren't in Key West to eat at the hotel! This breakfast is a perfect snack to start your day or begin your recovery! The front desk staff is amazing, always helpful and it's been rumored you may here a rendition of Tennessee Whiskey coming out of there at night! Location is perfect at the top of the island away from the crazy parts of Duval. Excellent bar with live entertainment and corner market within a block!
This hotel was awesome, with friendly helpful staff to an amazing pool and hot tub. The ambience was fun with the food truck eating area and poolside bar, and the food was excellent. The hotel shuttle runs to and from the hotel and downtown key west every half hour, so you never have to worry about parking. The hotel is a bit expensive, but so is every hotel in this area. We definitely enjoyed our stay here.
I honestly didn’t expect much from this hotel, especially at the price point of being one of the cheapest options in Key West. I was very impressed. Location was excellent with short walking distance to Duval st and the beach. Room was quite spacious for Key West, had a fridge and a smart tv in the room. Staff was very nice and accomodating as well
The Parrot Key is a super base for visits to Old Town, beaches and historic site. The Hotel/Villas are in exceptional conditions, clean quiet and with fabulous views over the Gulf and the Sunset. The Pools are perfectly located. The outdoor breakfeast restaurant is simply great. Very high value for money in the Key West area.
Overall, it was fine. No issues. I save my "excellent " rating for high-end hotels, but nothing wrong with this hotel. Seems to be well kept. It's not really walking distance to much, although you could if you like mile + walks. Price wise, it's competitive and nothing in Key West is inexpensive.
The hotel is relatively away from the loudness of everyone who's partying hard in Key West. It's in a place where you're not in the center, but yet, you are. I stayed in room #316 facing the bay. Which had a big balcony with rocking chairs and pool chairs. It was very spacious and overall clean.
Very clean best rental I've stayed in Key West. If you call Sunshine scooters they will pick you up at the airport and you rent one of their golf carts which is within a block of the hotel. and they will take you back to the airport when your trip is over. No taxi fees.
Parrot Key was absolutely wonderful — Shaun was the BEST and the entire property was clean, the staff was friendly, it was the perfect combination of old-time Key West and modern hotel. The whole property felt like a small house, but it is actually much bigger.
Very comfortable hotel in an old charming house with a lovely pool area, in the heart of Key West.
Excellent value for the money.
A tasty breakfast with waffles and muffins to mention a few. Private parking is available for 25 USD per day.
Awesome location, walking distance to everything you want to see in Key West. Pool area was nice. Breakfast was pretty decent for a hotel, my sister was very excited that they had gluten free bagels. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
The room was wonderful, every room was pool side. The restaurant and the bar were always delicious and lovely. The staff was so responsive and helpful! There was a great hotel shuttle into Key West and back to the hotel again all day!
It was ok and one of the cheapest around that area. Check in and out was quick and easy. Breakfast was tasty. Free shuttle bus going to the heart of Key West and the beach every 30 min or so.
We only slept here one night. Quite an expensive hotel, but that's Key West. Close to many restaurants, about half an hour's walk to the center. Possibility to rent bicycles (for a fee).
