I Atami, 1,7 kilometer fra Atami Sun Beach, ligger SOKI ATAMI, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en terrasse og en restaurant. This was a fantastic experience that will be on my mind for a long time. The food, the staff, the onsen, the rooms, everything was awesome.

I Shirakawa-go, 45 kilometer fra Hida Minzoku Mura landsbymuseum, ligger Onyado Yuinosho, Shirakawago, som har en fellesstue, gratis privat parkering, en restaurant og en bar. Perfekt overnattingssted for avslapping etter en dag med sightseeing. Onsen har flere basseng å velge mellom og er svært behagelige. Vi fikk låne lounge wear og kimonoer til å gå rundt med på hotellet, til og med spise middag og frokost i. En veldig fin perle oppe i fjellet.

The lodging was excellent with the ultimate Japanese experience. The room had every immensity possible and the bed was really comfortable. We would differently stay here again.

Oyado Koto No Yume ligger bare 2 minutters gange fra Takayama stasjon og har rom i japansk stil med fargerike innslag, termalbad, en restaurant og gratis Wi-Fi overalt. it was totally romantic, we love it, it was close to the main streets, the room was over our spectations, my wife was aided when she need to wear yukata, the personel was lovely and always pay attention to our need, we will come back when returning to Japan

Ryokan Hostel K 's House ligger i en 100 år gammel vernet bygning i Shizuoka, en 7-minutters spasertur fra JR Ito togstasjon. Vandrerhjemmet tilbyr bad i varme kilder, gratis Wi-Fi og 3 stuer. It was very nice and also liked the onsen a lot!

I Shimoda, 33 kilometer fra Kapp Koibito Misaki, ligger 横川温泉湯殿ととのゆ, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering og en fellesstue. We have never experienced this kind of luxury in our lives….. this place and environment totally blew our minds! We had te luxury to stay in the villa, and exceeded all our expectations. The views, the pool, the sauna, the hotspring tub, the fireplace, the BBQ… it was more than enough to really end our holiday totally relaxed! We were supposed to go to Tokyo the last 3 days of our holiday, but we where glad that we canceled that, and went to Shikuoka instead! The falls and wasabi fields and hikes nearby were great excursions, and then come back to the villa was a real dream! Also there were no other guests, so we had the whole place for ourselves…. Syukaen Yunohanazen tilbyr 4-stjerners overnatting i Atami. Overnattingsstedet ligger 14 minutters gange fra Atami Sun Beach og 27 kilometer fra Hakone-Yumoto stasjon. Two different hot spring baths, nice spread of food served to room for breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff but a bit weak on speaking English.

I Takayama, bare 48 kilometer fra Takayama stasjon og 26 kilometer fra Kamikochi ligger Hakuunsou. Authentic Japanese ryokan that offers private onsen for people with tattoo. Clean and very peaceful.

I Takayama, 18 minutters gange fra Takayama stasjon, ligger Iroriyado Hidaya, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering og en fellesstue. It was amazing. Excellent amenities and great service. You can pick up a yukata and the hotelier helps you dress up and take pictures. They give you local snacks and sake. There is also a great onsen that can be rented as private late in the evening.
